Absentee / Mail Voting

Florida law allows all qualified voters to request an absentee ballot from the Supervisor of Elections. A member of the voter’s immediate family or legal guardian may also request an absentee ballot for a voter, if directly instructed to do so by the voter. The request can be made for any and all elections through the end of the calendar year of the second ensuing regularly scheduled general election. Different scenarios apply to voters living in different locations or in the military. For the correct absentee information and instructions, choose the appropriate category below.

You can request an absentee ballot by using the Online Absentee / Mail Ballot Request Form or by calling one of our offices.

You can also track the status of your absentee ballot online by using the Voter Information Lookup System.
