Update Registration


TO UPDATE AN ADDRESS:

- Within Walton County: If updating your record to a Walton County address, call our office at 850-892-8112, or follow the instructions on the Florida Online Voter Registration Website This link will direct you to an external website..

- To another Florida county: If you are updating your address from Walton County to another county in Florida, follow the instructions on the Florida Online Voter Registration Website This link will direct you to an external website., or if you wish to update your address over the phone, contact the county This link will direct you to an external website. where your new address is located.

- Outside of Florida: Contact the state or jurisdiction where you have moved. Please notify them of your prior registration in Florida. To have your name removed from the voter rolls in Walton County, please complete the following form and return it to our office: Request Form to be Removed (English)  (Spanish)  


TO UPDATE PARTY AFFILIATION, NAME, OR SIGNATURE:

Follow the instructions on the Florida Online Voter Registration Website This link will direct you to an external website.

NOTE: Changing your party affiliation after the book closing deadline prior to the election will not take effect until after Election Day.

For a signature update to be used for signature comparison, it must be received prior to receiving the item with the signature that is being compared. Applications can be submitted online, by mail, or in-person to one of our offices. (F.S. 98.077(3))


TO REQUEST A REPLACEMENT VOTER INFORMATION CARD:

NOTE: The voter information card is NOT required for voter ID at the polls. It is for your information only. Some of the information on the voter information card can also be obtained online by looking up your voter information. Here is the list of acceptable IDs to vote


TO REQUEST / UPDATE VOTE-BY-MAIL BALLOT INFORMATION: 

If you would like to update your record with requests for Vote-by-Mail ballots, please contact our office or visit the Mail Ballot Request page. 


TO REMOVE YOUR NAME FROM THE VOTER ROLLS:

To have your name removed from the voter rolls in Walton County, please complete the following form and return it to our office: Request Form to be Removed (English)  (Spanish)
